ANDREA BILLINGSLEY-WHITFIELD, Author/Teacher;

Ms. Whitfield received her Bachelor's of Science degree at Alabama A&M University, and her Master's degree and Certification in Principalship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

In addition  to being a teacher, Ms. Whitfield is a Professional Development Facilitator; poet; local newspaper columnist and a proud mother of three daughters.

 

She has written a book titled, Restoring Respectable Classroom Behavior.  This book includes a segment on:

Bring It All Together:  Merging Character Education with the Home, School and Community"

Character education traits, such as trustworthiness and responsibility are presented and introduced to help educators, administrators, parents, churches and community leaders to create positive influences that can instill in students a sense of belonging and a belief that they are loved and valued.
